Forum Rules.

These rules & guidelines are updated or changed from time to time; it’s your responsibility to keep up to date with them.

Banned subject matters:

1: Any and all forms of pornography.
2: Posting links to any pornographic or unsuitable site.
3: Any discussion of Politics, Religion, Ethnicity, Creed or Sexism.
4: The use of bad language, swearing or cussing.
5: Racism

Any infractions of the above rules can result in a permanent banning. There are forums covering just about everything under the sun, if you feel compelled to express your views/comments on any of the above topics seek out such a forum and join them rather.

Members of come from diverse economic, religious, political, nationalities, age and sex orientations/beliefs/backgrounds. The foundation of harmonious interaction with each member is respect for each other’s beliefs and background, regardless of whether those beliefs etc match our own or not. We are opposed to any discrimination based on gender, nationality, race, colour, age, sexual orientation, disability, religious beliefs, political views or intelligence. This includes racially suggestive words, phrases and offensive slang.

Public relations: is the de facto online voice of air gun enthusiasts in South Africa. We should be aware that our statements, utterances and actions can at any time adversely affect key government decisions with regard to our hobby. If we are to continue our relative freedom to own and shoot air guns, the current law in South Africa as it pertains to air guns should at all times be respected and obeyed. Do not let the actions of a few dictate our future enjoyment of the hobby, speak out against irresponsible behavior, encourage safe shooting practices, respect for current legislation and be aware that we are always being watched.

Actions that can result in an infraction or banning:
Creating a post or thread that contains subject matter that is covered in the Banned Subject Matter list.
Swearing and swear words, even if such word or phrase is camouflaged by deliberate misspelling.
Posting photos/pictures of dead animals on the open forums.
Posting videos or links to videos of dead animals on the open forums.
Non adherence to any rules specific to a sub forum.
Aggressive and inflammatory posts deliberately styled to elicit a similar response.
Posting a PM/Private Message to a thread or post in the open forums without the express permission of all parties to the original PM/Private Message.
Creating multiple member profiles; only one login profile per member is allowed.

Members may upload their own custom avatars. They must not be pornographic, threatening or offensive in nature. Avatars that violate the “Banned Subject Matters” rules will be deleted by the moderators and can result in a banning or infraction.

Slogans in profile signatures that violate the “Banned Subject Matters” rules will be deleted by the moderators and can result in a banning or infraction.

Spamming of the forums or members is not and will not be accepted. Members caught spamming will be banned from the forum, no exceptions and no second chances. This includes dealers pushing their wares when members ask questions or comment on products.

In addition to the main forum rules the classifieds have rules specific to that section which must also be adhered to at all times.

Moderators and Administrators:
The Moderators and Administrators of do this on a voluntary, ad-hoc basis, they also have lives outside of the forum and deserve all the support they can get from members. Attacking or challenging Mods and/or the Admins will get the offender an automatic 1 month ban minimum. This does not mean that such action will be taken lightly, it will be discussed among Mods and Admin in the interests of objectivity. If you have difference of opinion with a Mod rather PM him and try to work it out in an amicable manner.

All messages and articles submitted to and made available as part of this discussion forum and any opinions, advice, statements or other information contained in any messages posted or transmitted by any third party are the responsibility of the author of that message/article and not of The fact that a particular message/article is posted on or transmitted using this web site does not mean that has endorsed that message in any way or verified the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message.
